Installation Instructions for OLINDA|EXM®
This program is intended for use on personal computers running Windows 2000 or Windows NT.
Please e-mail us if you have any difficulty with the installation or use of OLINDA|EXM®.
Installation instructions:
1 :: Download the file setup.exe
2 :: Save this file into any convenient
location on your computer.
3 :: Run setup.exe
4 :: This will create the needed
directory C:\OLINDA
NOTE: Accept the prompt when the directory is shown
as C:\
The necessary files will be put into C:\OLINDA.
5 :: Follow the further instructions
in the file "Installation Instructions for OLINDA.doc", which comes with
your download of the application.
6 :: Be particularly careful with
the syntax in the program shortcut; incorrect syntax has caused start-up problems
for a number of users.
Helpful Tips
Some users have found that the addition of a "classpath" keyword to the shortcut
is helpful.
The actual paths on your system may be different. The following is just an example:
Instead of using:
C:\WINNT\system32\javaw.exe olinda
...with the "Start In" directory shown as C:\olinda
Try:
C:\WINNT\system32\javaw.exe -classpath C:\olinda olinda
...with the "Start
In" directory remaining as C:\olinda
